Mega Projects In Dholera

ABCD Building

The ABCD Building serves as the Administration and Business Center for Dholera SIR, functioning as the central administrative hub for the region. It will house the command center for all ICT and SCADA sensors, making it the control center for operations. The building is being constructed in TP2 West.

Tata Solar Park

The Dholera Solar Park is a large-scale solar project planned within the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) in Gujarat. Recognized as an Ultra Mega Solar Power Project by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of the Government of India, the park is set to achieve a capacity of 5 GW by 2030.

Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway

Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway: Vehicles began using the initial stretch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in February, and the expressway is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year. Following this, another major expressway—the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway—is set to launch soon in the country.

Dholera International Airpot

Dholera International Airport, located in Navagam village near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, is being developed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) with a multi-phase master plan, aiming to accommodate up to 50 million passengers annually in the future.

Dholera Metro Rail

The rapid metro rail project is an ambitious initiative by the Gujarat government aimed at connecting the smart city of Dholera SIR to Ahmedabad on one end and Gandhinagar on the other. In addition to enhancing connectivity to the SIR region, the metro rail will play a key role in the success of the new Dholera International Airport.

Dholera SIR Current Status

The Dholera Smart City project is working aggressively with Phase 1 coming to an end. By 2024, approximately 95% of Phase 1 also known as 'the activation area Regional Plan has been reached'.
